These terms govern your use of HWTUTU (the "site"). By browsing the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

1. Who we are

HWTUTU is an independent reference website that publishes outdoor calculators, guides and practice games. It is not a professional advisory service, a retailer or a tour operator.

2. Use at your own risk

Hiking, camping, water sports and other outdoor activities involve inherent risk. You are responsible for your own decisions, your group, your equipment and your safety. Calculators and guides are estimates and general education only. Always check local regulations, weather, land-agency guidance and your own fitness before heading out. 3. No warranty

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, availability or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HWTUTU and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site, which is zero.

5. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HWTUTU and its operators from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purposes;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, servers or admin console;
  • interfere with the site's availability, including flooding or scraping at a rate that harms service;
  • copy, republish or resell substantial parts of the content without permission;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation with HWTUTU.

7. Intellectual property

The site's design, original text, calculators, games and branding are owned by HWTUTU or used with permission. You may use the tools for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not republish substantial content without written permission. Third-party names, if mentioned, remain the property of their owners and are used only for identification.

8. Third-party links and advertising

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how it is used. It forms part of these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is posted on this page. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. If you access the site from another country, you are responsible for complying with your local laws.
